What is RankMint?

RankMint is an AI-powered Etsy listing optimization tool. We help Etsy sellers generate optimized titles, tags, and descriptions to improve their search rankings. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Data we collect

  • Email address — collected when you sign up. Used only to send you login links and account-related emails. Never sold or shared with third parties.
  • Product information you submit — the product name, category, description, and current title you enter when using the optimizer. This is used to generate your results and saved to your optimization history.
  • Optimization results — the AI-generated titles, tags, and descriptions we produce for you. Saved so you can access your history from the dashboard.
  • Usage data — how many optimizations you've run, for billing and plan enforcement.
  • IP address — stored temporarily for anonymous trial users to enforce the one-free-trial limit. Not linked to any personal profile.
  • Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details.

How we use your data

  • To provide the optimization service
  • To send you magic link login emails
  • To track your usage against your plan limit
  • To show you your past optimization history
  • To process subscription payments via Stripe

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except the services listed below that are required to operate RankMint.

Third-party services

  • Supabase — authentication and database. Your email and optimization data are stored on Supabase's infrastructure. Supabase Privacy Policy

  • OpenRouter / Meta Llama — the AI model that generates your optimized listings. Your product information is sent to OpenRouter to generate results. OpenRouter Privacy Policy

Cookies

We use a single authentication cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the app to function and is exempt from consent requirements under GDPR. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. There is no cookie consent banner because there is nothing to consent to beyond what is required for the service to work.

Your rights

You can:

  • Access your data at any time through your dashboard
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us
  • Cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal

Data retention

We retain your account and optimization history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymous trial records (IP addresses) are retained for 30 days.
